musiQproof was founded by Marvin Kuijs, a music industry entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in music rights, copyright, music promotion and the global music business.

He is the co-founder of iPluggers, one of the world's leading music-to-radio promotion companies and Free Music Publishing. Throughout his career, Marvin has collaborated with major record labels, music publishers, management companies and internationally renowned artists. Over the years, he has worked with and produced music for numerous artists, including Tyla, Janet Jackson, Shaggy, Teddy Swims, Snoop Dogg and many more, while also collaborating with leading record labels such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and BMG.

After decades of working with artists, record labels and rights holders, Marvin noticed the same misconception over and over again. Many creators believe that uploading music to streaming platforms or registering with a Performing Rights Organization (PRO) automatically proves their copyright ownership.

It doesn't.

That insight led to the creation of musiQproof.
